2020 Travels
Taiwan

January 15 - 21, 2020

Taiwan is modern and vibrant, and has about the friendliest people of any country we have visited. Everyone was so nice to us. We enjoyed the nature areas, the 180-mph bullet trains, and the delicious food.

Below: The sign reads "Taroko National Park" which was our first nature excursion. The tourmaline-blue rivers were beautiful and we saw wild monkeys here (Rock Macaque Monkeys).

Taiwan was so comfortable and so easy to get around. It was a great place to kick off our tour of Asia. Next stop: Philippines.
