Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta 2015

Below: If Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth, this is the second-happiest! We arrived in the early morning (with tens of thousands of other people) to watch the balloonists fill and launch their balloons in the dark.







Below: As dawn broke more people and more balloons arrived. The best part was getting right next to the balloonists as they prepared for flight.





Below: The field referees control the launch of the balloons and they take their job seriously.



Below: Balloons started lifting off in huge waves to the cheers of the crowd. Over 500 balloons took flight which was breathtaking. We loved it!
