For week of 10/22/11: Feeding Buffalo in Cheyenne, WY



Here's Bill hand-feeding a buffalo. This was the highlight of the day at the Terry Bison Ranch in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We took a train ride out where the buffalo roam and, to our surprise, the buffalo came right up to the train! The conductor stopped the train and gave all the passengers buffalo food which we hand-fed to the buffalo out the windows of the train. This was just amazing because we were not expecting this to happen and it was wonderful to see these large animals up close. Jamie was feeding and petting the buffalo! Even a yak showed up and tried to get in on the action.
