For week of 7/23/11: Kingda Ka in Jackson, NJ



This is Kingda Ka, the tallest rollercoaster in the world and the second fastest. The train sitting on the track is at the starting point. You accelerate down the straight-away until you reach 128 MPH (in 3.5 seconds!). Your momentum takes you straight up the track 456 feet where you make a slow turn at the top, then plummet head-first straight down the other side. Jamie and I rode this rollercoaster twice and it is quite a rush! It is located in Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. We went there on Bill's birthday on July 12th.
