Biscayne National Park, Florida

Below: Biscayne National Park is 95% under water so the best way to see it is by boat. Our boat tour gave us a nice view of the Miami skyline as we left the harbor.

Below: Our first stop was the lighthouse on Boca Chita Key. From here we headed out to shallow blue water for snorkeling.

Below: We stopped at a shipwreck and snorkeled with an underwater camera.

Below: There were lots of fish swimming around the wreck and the water was clear and warm. That part was really nice.

Below: There were also lots of jellyfish in the water and everyone who went snorkeling got stung multiple times. Ouch! That part was not nice.

Below: One of the moon jellies swimming on the surface. Concerning the pain and anguish of all the snorkelers when we got back on the boat, the captain said "That's nature!" I guess we got a little too close to nature but we had a good time overall.
